We do not accept tips on non-UK racing where an official SP or dividend is not returned by either of the 2 main UK results sources, the Sporting Life or the Racing Post.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Q. What types of tips am I allowed to place?
A. You can do win, each way and place only bets (and also win & place lays) on most major sporting events and also on specials and novelty events. You can also do Asian Handicaps, related markets such as first goalscorer in footy and set betting in tennis. As a general rule, if there are odds available for it on Betfinder, then you can place bets or lays on it.
Q. What kind of tips can I NOT place ?
A. We do not allow financial, spread betting, permutation, forecast, tricasts or multiple bets. Nor do we accept 'In-Running' bets, you must get your tips in before the official 'off' time. Finally, no duplicate bets - the most you can place on any one outcome is 10 points or 10 points each way. If you go over this on any single outcome then only one bet will be used to the maximum of 10pts.
Q. Can I place each-way bets?
Yes, you can now place each way bets to a maximum of 10pts EW. If you want to take a price on each way bets you can only do so using a bookmaker (not betting exchanges) who is also offering place terms on that event. Alternatively, you can enter separate win and place bets if you want to use exchange odds or SP, or vary the stakes.
Q. How do you determine the price?
A. Unless it's an unusual market it's probably best to leave the price box empty. However, we will verify any prices you enter so please don't try and cheat! There may be a time delay between when we are able to verify the odds so there may be a slight difference. We will always credit you with the best odds available on Betfinder at the time of verification.
If we are unable to verify the price in time then SP may be used, so if you want to take a price please place the bet as early as possible. Prices must be entered in decimal odds format. (You can switch between fractional and decimal under Preferences on the right hand side when viewing odds tables). If you take a price and there are subsequent non-runners, we reserve the right to amend the price to the best odds available when the market reforms or use SP. Our decision is final.
Anyone found to be trying to obtain bigger prices than available will be banned and any outstanding prize money withheld.
Q. What about dead heats, abandonements etc.?
A. For any of these sorts of outcomes, we will always use the same rules as Paddy Power. For example in Tennis, all bets are Void if a player retires at any point. Their rules can be found here.
Q. What happens in the event of tie in the tipster league?
A. In the event of 2 or more players tying for a cash payout position, the total cash available for those tied positions will be divided equally.
Q. What do LWS and LLS stand for?
A. They stand for Longest Winning Streak and Longest Losing Streak to show a players best and worst sequences of consecutive winning or losing runs.
Good luck!
