The incident occurred in post-match celebrations and led to the Welshman being suspended
Henson is set to find out his fate this week though, so it remains to be seen whether he has a future in France or whether he has wasted another chance to rebuild his rugby career. The 29-year-old was a million miles away from wearing a Wales 6 Nations Jersey earlier this year and is not doing himself any favours with regards to securing a Rugby World Cup place. In all honesty, many are bored of talking about him and his failings, but it will still be interesting to see what his next move is. He would have been banking on securing a deal at Toulon after enjoying his short time at the club up until the bar brawl. Considering Toulon are fighting hard to secure a place in the Top 14 championship play-offs, this type of incident is far from ideal. They will be extremely annoyed that they have to deal with such things. They will now have to weigh up whether Henson's talent on the field is enough to outweigh the occasional problems he seems to cause away from Rugby. Club owner Mourad Boudjellal has already admitted that Henson is 'difficult to manage' so the indications are that the Welshman will be looking for a new club this summer after making just two appearances in a Toulon jersey. Even without the suspension, Henson's future at the club was far from certain. His main aim for the next few months will be to represent Wales again and if he does this, he will not be available for the entire French Top 14 season. With Jonny Wilkinson almost certain to miss some of the campaign to be with England, Toulon are widely expected to be after a player that is available for the whole season. Henson, especially when you consider his off the field issues, could end up being too big a risk. As ever with the former Ospreys' player though, you just never know what is going to happen next.
